Hamas and Fatah Agree to Ceasefire - A Long Way Away From Peace

Hamas and Fatah are swapping hostages in a ceasefire deal which went into effect Tuesday, after more than 30 Palestinians were killed.

Now, this is news - and I'm the one reporting it!

Yes, you better believe it! It's not yet on CNN, but it's on my blog!

To be frank, I find it amazing. Every time Israel takes one step into Gaza, they are shouted at, "Hey, leave them alone! They're a peaceful nation!"

On the other hand, when it comes to infighting between the Palestinians, no one seems to know that they exist.

Unfortunately, this is a reality that world powers do not seem to understand. International mediators consisting of the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations will be in Washington this Friday to revive the peace process.

According to the US government, the logic is quite simple. If you can't run your own country, at least show them that you can run another country. It goes further... If you can't run another country, show them that you can run another country!

But, if Hamas and Fatah can't get along, can Israel make peace with them?

If you ask me, this calls for a new strategy. Maybe it's time to leave Israel alone. Let's take care of our own problems and let the Israelis take care of their own problem.
